- This game has been around for 1/2 a year and only 10,000+ installs.
The focus now should be building up the player base.
This can be achieved by being generous to the player base.
Give more to be able to earn more in the future.
Be generous with your events, rewards etc.- For example, 100 gold, 10 crystals from daily login rewards is hardly generous etc. 28 days login and not even a quantum key.
Make it at least 1000 gold, 100 crystals, and give out quantum keys. - Take off the Daily Limit for gold for Campaign/Arena
It makes the game looks ungenerous with the daily limit.
Anyway, there is no trade system in this game; no economy imbalance.
Worst case scenario is botting to get gold but to discourage this with the trade off of making the game look ungenerous, it is just not worth it. To grow the game, you need to make the game look good, then you discourage bots and not the other way round; you don't worry about bots even before getting your game off;
- For example, 100 gold, 10 crystals from daily login rewards is hardly generous etc. 28 days login and not even a quantum key.
- Keep the game friendly to F2P players.
Because in any mobile game, the F2P makes up around ~60% of the community;
The casual P2P spender, those who buy monthly packs worth 5$ bucks, make up the other ~30% of the community;
Finally, your HUGE spenders make up only ~10% of your community.
The F2P makes the community lively and HISTORY has shown that any mobile game that focused solely on P2P have mostly failed. - Create more Units/Chosens for PvP variety.
You can do better than what you have now.
But do not break the game with an OP unit / chosen.
That's the hard thing to do. Otherwise, you would lose lots of players. - More content / Game Modes
While keeping the difficulty reasonable for your new player base
This is not a problem for this game because regardless of the game modes, you get the same keys (similar keys). - Reduce the Grind / Having auto functions
There is currently no way to AUTO the game modes to get keys.
Without auto mode, you are basically losing out on a SIGNIFICANT portion of casual players who prefer to have some mode where they can get keys using AUTO function, without having to manually repeat/play the game.
These casual players, are usually those that are willing to spend 5~10$ bucks per month on a game. - Forget about fixing non-essential issues such as low difficulty with campaign maps or other content.
Don't fix unless absolutely broken and breaks the game.
You might see some campaign maps being easy and thinking of fixing it but don't waste your time.
Focus on making new content, new maps INSTEAD.
Pros & Cons of Quantum Siege
- Quantum Siege has a novel game concept with great artwork and lore.
- Too grindy, only manual play to get keys; no automation provided
- Reasonable pricing of resources
- Lack of content.
- Lack of variety of units in terms of the strategic aspect of the game.
People can get tired easily with the same units over and over again.
More variety, more units, more chosens, more game elements can be added to improve of the variety of the game.
